One of the common complaints of people, the love of the Amazon Kindle and similar e reader for the iPad collected is that high-contrast e-paper displays in light, also in the open, with less strain on the eyes and glare can be read with a LCD to receive. E-Paper display fans tout the much longer life of the battery of devices like the Kindle on the LCD-based tablets because much less power is required, run the e-paper displays.
Apple has apparently heard these complaints, and a patent recently revealed has to be a way, filing a hybrid or combination of e-paper and LCD display: one that could change mobile devices and tablets, if it works well. The patent is "systems and methods for switching between electronic paper display and a video display", and behind the lingo technology is segments, the one day of can allow, or an entire device screen between e-paper mode and LCD mode switch.
In accordance with the patent application, the system would work, by a thin, almost transparent electronic paper screen on the LCD display, but with the capacitive touch-sensitive Panel.
